Learn From The Industry's Best

Thorn Customer Solutions Center

As an upgrade to one of our existing facilities in Carrollton, Ga, the state-of-the-art Thorn Customer Solutions Center showcases our product portfolio and allows for education and hands-on training for contractors, channel associates and industry training partners.

The more than 18,000 square foot training center includes a classroom area with capacity for up to 80 participants, a demonstration jobsite environment with hands-on opportunities to sample Southwire’s tools and equipment and wire and cable products and more than 1,500 square feet of conference rooms and staff offices.

The Future

We hope to train as many as 150 contractors at the center each year. From the owner to the foreman, the Thorn Customer Solutions Center will be a place where more efficient, safe, and productive electrical installation methods are learned. Educating the upcoming generation of tradesmen on economical and efficient products and services will be key to sustaining a productive workforce in the industry.

Hands-On Training

A training session will cover best practices needed for safe and productive cable installation on the job by utilizing the use of Southwire SIMpull Solutions® innovations, with the use of classroom training followed by hands-on installation during the session, attendees come away with a better understanding of how wire installation can be completed with less labor and improved safety.
